Whole Term Cet Reflection

Hi everyone! This is my last Cet 103 post and I am going to share my reflection about whole semester. As I mentioned in my first post which is about my expectations from this course, I thought that it will be different experience, and this is true. This class gave an opportunity us to learn some applications and technological materials to use in our future classes, and I am gonna absolutely use those in my classes. For example, I really like Prezi and Wordle. I’ve not think that I can enjoy while preparing a presentation, but I enjoyed.  Although I was bored in some weeks because of some reasons I liked this course. ( even if it doesn’t look like:D ) In addition to these, our teacher was so friendly and funny which makes the class more attractive. This brings us to the end of my reflection. It was a nice and fast term! See you..

Reflection - WEB 2.0 Tools

Reflection- WEB 2.0 Tools
Our topic of last week was using web 2.0 tools in education. Although I heard some of them before, there were new ones. Blogger, Skype, Facebook, Twitter, Wikipedia, TweetDeck, Evernote and YouTube were that I already knew. Actually, I hadn't think about before that they are useful for education, but I realized in this class that they are. For example,r class blog. In this way they can share reflections or assignment by using Blogger. When it comes to the new tools that I learned, these can be listed as  Voki, EDMODO, Voice Thread, Screen Cast, Wordle, Flickr, Prezi and more. If it is asked which ones the most I like, I can say Prezi, Screen Cast and Wordle because they seem more useful to me. To explain, as Prezi is the presentation editor , it is always helpful tool for students. By using Screen Cast, teacher might give more effective feedbacks, and by using Wordle, it can be created visuals threat when I become an English teacher.

Reflection About The class which is about social network use in education

Today, we started to class by signing in Facebook, firstly. Our purpose was to work collaboratively on Facebook, and this work was about making up some kind of story. Actually, it was a little bit boring, but we learned this to apply to our future students when we want to do something together on social network. After this, we signed in Twitter which is another social network application. For this time, we created a hash tag that is under the name of ‘WhoIAm’ and, shared something which is about the questions our teacher asked. These two activities are almost the same, and some parts of them really enjoyable. Let’s wait and see what we are going to see in the next class..
